A multidisciplinary Cornell design and research team, assembled to tackle the environmental problem of post-consumer textile waste, has developed a unique fabric-shredding machine in hopes of a zero-waste solution for the textile industry.
From recycling to energy, Cornell is forging ahead with environmental programs in sustainable development. These are recognized as critical issues by the university's leadership and the campus is on the brink of emerging as a global leader in sustainability.
